The Oil Change International is a “research, communications, and advocacy organization focused on exposing the true costs of fossil fuels and facilitating the ongoing transition to clean energy.” Its work is centered around the fossil fuel industry because it considers it a ”major barrier to a clean energy transition.” Consequently, it strives to “craft strategic, incisive campaigns, supporting a diversity of strategies and tactics to challenge the influence of the fossil fuel industry.”
- Still Digging: G20 Governments Continue to Finance the Climate Crisis (May 2020, p45): shows how “support for fossil fuels has not dropped since the Paris Agreement was made.”
- In the Face of COVID-19, Governments Have a Choice: Resilient Societies or Fossil Fuel Bailouts? (April 2020, 12p): “outlines why continuing to rely on fossil fuels, in particular oil and gas, is not compatible with long-term recovery” from the pandemic.
