NIRS is a national non-profit organization that works internationally to create a “sustainable energy future without nuclear power”. The service is  affiliated with the World Information Service on Energy (WISE) International and they devoted to a nuclear-free, carbon-free world.” They serve as an “information and networking hub for people and organizations concerned about nuclear power, radioactive waste, radiation, and sustainable energy issues.”
