Focus areas:

  1. The National Weather Service (NWS) provides weather, hydrologic, and climate forecasts and warnings for the United States, its territories, adjacent waters and ocean areas
  2. The National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) provides comprehensive oceanic, atmospheric, and geophysical data
  3. National Ocean Service addresses oceanic and coastal transportation and commerce, coastal preparedness, recreation, stewardship and tourism
