Poul Holm (President)

A global initiative of regional observatories seeking to uncover “how the humanities may contribute to pro-environmental behaviour.” As a networking tool fueled by concerns about the role of the humanities in meeting the challenges posed by the United Nations Decade of Action (2020–2030), instead of defining a single research agenda appropriate for this inquiry, each observatory addresses different thematic strains in its region. Observatories also collaborate on issues such as food justice and climate migration.
