The Forum is an “informal, non-binding, voluntary and government-led process”, which brings together “expertise from all regions and countries at all stages of economic, social and political development.” It has also “established formal links with other processes such as the GFMD Civil Society, the GFMD Business Mechanism and the Mayors Mechanism.”
