It’s comprised of “former heads of government, finance ministers and leaders in the fields of economics and business” from seven countries; Colombia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Norway, South Korea, Sweden and the UK. It strives to find ways through which “countries can achieve economic growth while dealing with the risks posed by climate change.” Its flagship project ‘The New Climate Economy’ (NCE) provides evidence that correlates “actions which can strengthen economic performance and those which reduce the risk of dangerous climate change.”
