Generation Foundation

Generation Foundation (2004; London/San Francisco; genfound.org)

The Generation Foundation is a non-profit “advocacy initiative of Generation Investment Management, a boutique investment manager.” It was established in order to “strengthen the case for Sustainable Capitalism” by “mobilizing asset owners, asset managers, companies and other key participants in financial markets in support of the business case for Sustainable Capitalism, and persuading them to allocate capital accordingly.” The Foundation also “publishes in-house research, gives select grants related to the field of Sustainable Capitalism, and engages with the local communities where it operates.”
