It’s focus is on renewable energy research, representing European Research Centres involved in the field. Its mission is to promote and assist the development of new technology and human resources that will allow for a rapid transition to a sustainable energy system. Its members also perform research on supporting technologies such as energy efficiency, storage, distribution, and integration, as well as studies on renewable energy’s social and economic aspects.
