EnviroLink Network

EnviroLink Network (1991; Pittsburgh, PA; envirolink.org)

The non-profit organization is run by dedicated volunteers, with a “grassroots online community that unites hundreds of organizations and volunteers around the world with millions of people in almost every country in the world.” They aim to provide “comprehensive, up-to-date environmental information and news”, and are committed to “promoting a just and sustainable society by connecting individuals and organizations through communications technologies.”That being said, it “does not take any positions on any specific environmental issues”, existing “solely to act as a clearinghouse on the Internet for the environmental community, which is incredibly diverse in its views.”
