East Asia Clean Air Cities (EACAC)

Founding Year: 2016

A long-term multi-lateral cooperation network for East Asian cities (from China, Korea, Japan and Mongolia) committed to tackling air pollution. It was set up in response to the urgent need for air quality improvement in the region. The regional partnership platform works to foster effective and regular knowledge exchange between local governments in the region, and promote clean air actions via city-to-city partnership. It is managed by the ICLEI East Asia Secretariat and has set up a network of 10 local governments and 12 partners.
