It “uses natural capital valuation to help decision makers and local stakeholders understand the value of natural capital assets.”  It works to identify and quantify those “benefits to ensure they are included in the decision-making process at all levels, so communities can mitigate risk, increase resilience, and protect their natural capital wealth.”
