The Commonwealth Fusion Systems carry out “rapid, staged research leading to a new generation of fusion experiments and power plants based on advances in high-temperature superconductors.” It aims to build the first commercial fusion power plant to provide “limitless, clean, fusion energy to curb greenhouse gases and combat climate change.”
