The operating foundation was established by former U.S. president Bill Clinton to “create economic opportunity, improve public health, and inspire civic engagement” for people living in the USA and across the world. It strives to use available resources to get better results faster and at the lowest possible cost in order to conduct its activities that “range from helping farmers in Africa increase their yields and incomes to mobilizing relief efforts in the wake of natural disasters; from confronting public health to combating the effects of climate change in the Caribbean through clean and renewable energy efforts.”
