Formerly knows as Climate Careers, this project now acts as “a platform for climate action, education, and impact.”
Their main focus remains to to link those who want to work to address climate change with jobs at climate-oriented organizations. They partner with organizations advancing climate solutions, research, policy, education, and advocacy for climate action, helping to find mission-driven talent. Mission is to “leverage employment as a vehicle to drive climate action and advance impactful climate solutions.” They seek both jobseekers and employers in a number of “impact areas” or categories.
Choice of “impact areas” (see list below) were originally based on Project Drawdown‘s list of evidence-based climate solutions but has sine expanded. It is designed to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
