A global coalition was created to make “meaningful climate action faster and easier by independently tracking greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with unprecedented detail and speed”. It aims to drive stronger decision-making on environmental policy, investment, corporate sustainability strategy and seeks “to mobilize the global tech community—harnessing satellites, artificial intelligence, and collective expertise—to track human-caused emissions to specific sources in real-time—independently and publicly.”
