It facilitates pioneering climate-smart planning and action in low and middle-income economies, many of which are the least prepared but most vulnerable to the challenges of climate change. It responds to the global climate crisis by providing large-scale, low-cost, long-term financial solutions to help countries achieve their climate goals to embrace new technologies and strategies to tackle the climate crisis.
