A “coalition of willing leaders who are committed to tackling inequalities and promoting more inclusive economic growth in cities.” It was launched as a “response to the growing gap between the rich and the poor.” It works to help governments to analyze “rising inequalities, monitor material living standards and broader well-being, and design policy packages that promote equity and growth. ”
