Jason Bordoff (Founding Director)

A research center that aims to produce evidence-based research to address the world’s most critical energy and climate issues. It accomplishes this by conducting high-quality research, providing a platform for global communication, and training future leaders and communicators in the field. Operating at the intersection of geopolitics, climate, and the economy, CGEP acknowledges the pivotal role of energy in these domains. Besides research, CGEP hosts initiatives and programs that address critical energy and climate policy needs, such as the Women in Energy program and the Carbontech Development Initiative (CDI). It also provides expert insights, analysis, and news stories and organizes podcasts and events featuring detailed discussions with energy and climate leaders.
