Is a center affiliated with Penn State University’s Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science. It aims at making the most out of every input and forecast related to weather or climate to prevent and manage environmental risks. In order to do so, it relies on the University’s capabilities in different fields such as e-Education, Meteorology, and Engineering to gain more insights into “the science of exploiting environmental opportunities”.
