Formerly known as the Consultative Group on Biological Diversity, BFG is a “professional association of environmental, conservation, climate and energy grant-makers.” It strives for a “just, healthy, and sustainable future for all life on Earth supported by an effective philanthropic sector.” Consequently, it works to “support and grow a community of biodiversity grant-makers that pursues complementary and collaborative strategies.”
