It ” contributes to the development and distribution of the knowledge to inform policy development and adaptation strategies to help Canadians meet the challenges and opportunities created by socio-economic and climate change in the Arctic.” The organization is affiliated with the Network of Centers of Excellence of Canada that “brings together scientists in the natural, human health and social sciences with their partners from Inuit organizations, federal and provincial agencies and the private sector.” AN’s network of researchers, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research associates, and technicians “collaborate with more than 150 partner organizations in 14 countries.”
