It promotes environmentally friendly mobility, collaborating with key political, business, academia, and civil society stakeholders to decarbonize transportation. The think-tank team creates evidence-based policy strategies and recommendations to that end. Stiftung Mercator and the European Climate Foundation launched Agora Verkehrswende in 2016.
