A challenge directed to “businesses, states, city and local governments, and global citizens to take action for better forest and habitat conservation, food production and consumption, and land use […] to deliver 30% of the climate solutions needed by 2030.” For that it focuses on forestry and food-raising practices, as well as food waste which account respectively for 24% and 8% of greenhouse gas emissions. A brainchild of the Global Climate Action Summit in San Fransisco in September 2018 and later initiated by the WWF.
