Mission: educate the public—and influence the public discourse—on global issues of the day. The Chicago Forum holds >150 public and leadership events per year, with 38,000 participants in 2013-2014. Topics of interest: 1) Global Agriculture and Food; 2) Economics and Business; 3) Energy, Environment, and Climate (from a regional, national, and international point of view); 4) International Politics and Policy; 5) Foreign Policy and National Security; 6) Values, Diversity, and Pluralism (rule of law, religion, migration, human rights). Issues public opinion surveys of American views on foreign policy, Annual Reports, six blogs, a Newsletter, and an eNewsletter Communique. President: Ivo H. Daalder; >60 staff plus 15 Fellows.
